Capital Chordsmen In Concert
On April 5 at 7 p.m., the Capital University Chordsmen under the direction Mr. Craig Courtney will perform at free concert in the Kenston High School auditorium, 9500 Bainbridge Road. The Chordsmen ensemble is over 70 voices strong and regularly performs a variety of sacred and secular choral.
KMS?Science Olympiad Team Advances To States
The Kenston Middle School Science Olympiad team placed fifth at the Case Western Reserve University Regional Tournament to earn the right to compete at the state final in Columbus at the end of April.
Individual winners who placed sixth or better were: Chuck Mozingo, Disease Detective, first place; Ryan Sauder, Forestry, third place; William Parsons and Alexandra Weinhofer, Rotor Egg Drop, third place; Fred Fikter and Chuck Mozingo, Dynamic Planet, fourth place; Evan Frank and Betsy Ortner, Reach for the Stars, fourth place; Breanna Kramer and Anna Snyder, Boomilever, fifth place; and Ryan Sauder and Fred Fikter, Mission Possible, fifth place.

Congratulations to Timmons Elementary School Students of the Month for March. The following first-graders honored with “positive Attitude” awards were: Spencer Brownfield, Hayley Garber, Camille Jackson Janie Kerchenski, Ryan Manning, Cora Musser, Marra Parker and Emily Phillips.
Second-graders were Morgan Blackford, Beckham Cornell, Anne Costello, Cooper Craig, Joshua Roberts, Keegan Sheehan, Ellen Wafalosky and Ella Worrell. Third-graders were Dominic Alandt, Patrick Benjamin, Michael Benza, Catara DeJarnette, Lauren Farrelly, Kathryn Hutchison, Peter Morey, John Rattray and Gavin Scocos.
