Geauga Beef and Swine 4-H Club held its meeting on April 21 at Ernst Lanes. Dates were discussed about the officer training workshop on May 1. All new officers should try to attend.
The group talked about quality assurance, which takes place on May 4 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Fairgrounds. Pig tagging is May 18 at the Fairgrounds from 8-11 a.m.
There are some members that cant make project judging on July 13. The make-up date is June 27 at 6:30 p.m. but one must make an appointment by calling the Extension Office.
The club also went over feed tags in the 4-H project book and worked on other pages with advisor Greg Spear. He also gave out new assignments for next month to work on.
Sales meeting is May 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the school building at the Fairgrounds.
