Chardon VFW Post 6519 will offer a breaded shrimp dinner during its Queen of Hearts drawing Wednesday nights in January from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Donation is $7.

Chardon VFW Post 6519 will offer a breaded shrimp dinner during its Queen of Hearts drawing Wednesday nights in January from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Donation is $7.

The post will also host a pork and sauerkraut dinner and raffle Jan. 6 from 5:30- 7 p.m. Only 80 tickets will be sold for the $300 drawing. Drawing will take place at 7:15 p.m. Donation is $12. Tickets are available at the canteen.

The post is located at 752 Water St. in Chardon.

CV Herb Society Meets

Jan. 19, 12:30 p.m.

The Chagrin Valley Herb Society will meet at the Bainbridge Library. Following refreshments and a business meeting, the group will participate in a stenciling workshop.

Boy Scout Spaghetti Dinner

Jan. 26, 4:30-7:30 p.m.

Parkman Cub Scout Pack 4076 is hosting a spaghetti dinner and Chinese auction at Parkman Community House, 16295 Main Market Road. Carryout is available.

Presale tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for youth ages 5-12. Tickets at the door are $9 for adults and $6 for youth ages 5-12. Children under 5 are free.

Chinese auction tickets will be sold throughout the dinner. The drawing will take place around 7 p.m. Winners need not be present.
