Chardon VFW Pancake Breakfasts

Chardon VFW Post 6519 will host pancake breakfasts at the post located at 752 Water St. For information, call 440-285-3699.

Historical Village Open House

Nov. 1, 12-4 p.m.

The Chesterland Historical Village will be holding an open house for all the vintage buildings on the corner of Caves and Mayfield roads in Chester Township. Docents will be on site to welcome visitors and give tours. Masks are required and social distancing will be practiced.

There will also be a holiday sale of quality handcrafted gift items displayed in the town hall. The sale is in lieu of the annual boutique and tea usually held in the Tanner House.

Annual Turkey Dinner

Nov. 3, 4:30-7 p.m.

The Women’s Fellowship of Parkman Congregational Church is preparing and serving their annual Election Day turkey dinner with all the trimmings at the church located at 18265 Madison Road.

Dinner is $12 per person. Due to social distancing requirements, dinner is drive-through, carryout only.

The church is located at 18265 Madison Road in Parkman.

Join Geauga Economic Leadership (GEL) via Zoom webinar for “Mindful Leadership” with Dr. Julie Evey and Dr. Luda Leontieva.

They will discuss current research that addresses the value of mindfulness for business leaders and how these practices can positively impact the workplace.

Genealogical Society Meets

Paul Harris, secretary of the Great Geauga County Fair, will present “History of the Great Geauga County Fair” via Zoom at the Geauga County Genealogical Society’s virtual meeting. The program will begin after a short meeting. Registration is required; visit www.gcgsoh.org.
