Blood Pressure Screenings
Lake Health will offer free blood pressure checks at the Chardon Campus, 510 Fifth Ave., from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.

American Red Cross blood donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health.

2016 Immunization Clinics
The Geauga County General Health District offers free walk-in immunization clinics for children and adolescents through the age of 18. Residents must present an immunization record as well as a primary insurance card. The following is a list of upcoming immunization clinics:

Heart Health Day
Feb. 6, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The public is invited to attend a free community education event devoted to maintaining good heart and vascular health. Heart Health Day, presented by University Hospitals, will be held at LaMalfa, 5783 Heisley Road in Mentor.
The event will provide participants an opportunity to learn about preventing, diagnosing and treating heart and vascular disease. Expert speakers from UH Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute will share information and discuss the latest trends and tools to help improve health and quality of life.
The program features interactive physician panels and a keynote presentation by Dr. Michael J. Cunningham, program director, interventional cardiology, UH Ahuja Medical Center.
Information displays and interactive vendor exhibits will be available. Comp-limentary breakfast will be provided.
