Blood Pressure Screenings

Lake Health will offer free blood pressure checks at the Chardon Campus, 510 Fifth Ave., from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.

Bloodmobile

American Red Cross blood donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. Eligible blood donors of all types are needed, especially those with O, AB, B negative and A negative.

Help for Mental Illness

Geauga County National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) offers support, education and advocacy for those affected by mental illness.

Family-to-Family is a free 12-week educational course for family members and friends of individuals with brain disorders called mental illness. Classes begin April 10 at 6 p.m. at the Chardon office, 107 South St.
