Family Health & Safety Day
July 11, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center will present its seventh annual Family Health & Safety Day at the hospital’s campus, 13207 Ravenna Road in Claridon Township. The free community event will offer a variety of family-friendly activities, safety tips, wellness screenings and educational materials that support and promote healthy lifestyles for people of all ages.
The UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital Safety Squad will be onsite throughout the event.
Walkup screenings include balance and grip strength, bone density, hearing, cholesterol and glucose blood tests, and stroke risk assessments. Lower extremity vascular assessments and skin cancer screenings are also available but require preregistration; call 216-593-1768 to schedule an appointment.
