2015 Immunization Clinics

The Geauga County General Health District offers free walk-in immunization clinics for children and adolescents through the age of 18. Residents must present an immunization record as well as a primary insurance card.

Community Open House

July 18, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Mapleview Country Villa, a premier skilled nursing and rehabilitation com-munity, is holding a community open house to celebrate the completion of its 70,000 square foot project located at 775 South Street in Chardon. The event will include facility tours, raffle prizes, food and refreshments. Activities for children will also be available, including an appearance from magician Rick Smith Jr. from 11-11:45 a.m.

Successful Co-Parenting

July 29, 6-8:30 p.m.

Ohio State University Extension and Ravenwood Mental Health Center will offer Successful Co-Parenting at the OSU office in Chardon, 470 Center St., Building 6-B.

Mary Alice Bell from Ravenwood and Terri Worthington from OSU Extension will co-present on the topics of “Taking Care of You,” “Taking Care of Your Child” and “Taking Care of Your Co-Parenting Relationship.”

Strategies for working together to assist children in adjusting to divorce and living in two homes will be covered. The class is free, but registration is required; seating is limited.
