NJHS Donates to Honor Flight
Chardon Middle School’s National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) recently completed a fundraiser that benefited Honor Flight Cleveland, whose mission is to pay tribute to U.S. veterans who served our country by providing them a safe and memorable all-expense-paid trip to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials honoring their service.
The students held a candy sale and raised $250, which they recently presented to Honor Flight representative Jan Merrick. Mrs. Merrick says the Cleveland Chapter of Honor Flight will be traveling to Washington, D.C., with its first group of veterans on May 15.
