Flea Market in the West Woods
July 11, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Geauga County Chapter of Ohio Horseman’s Council will host its 10th annual flea market at The West Woods’ picnic area, 9465 Kinsman Road, Russell Township. All proceeds from the event and application fees for vendor spaces will benefit Geauga Park District’s Bridle Trail Fund.
Dozens of vendors will sell treasures such as antiques, collectibles, birdhouses, jewelry (new and old), tools, toys, furniture, rugs, plants, handmade materials, soaps, general household items and other bargains galore.

Join Ohio Lepidopterists member Mark Rzeszotarski and naturalists for this annual census to learn identification, habits and food sources of these amazing insects. Participants who catch a butterfly or dragonfly get a free hamburger or hot dog. Nature’s Not To Be Missed.

Burton Wetlands Nature Preserve
Search for signs of wildlife while afloat on beautiful Lake Kelso. Basic kayaking skills required. Ages 12 and older with an adult. Registration required.

Explore the great outdoors hiking, fishing, kayaking, biking, launching rockets, geocaching and more. Equipment use included in $150 fee. Program designed for youth entering grades 5-7. Scholarships available. Registration required.
