Pre-K Poetry Recital
Twenty-seven prekindergarten students from Notre Dame Elementary Preschool delighted parents, relatives and friends with the annual poetry recital held March 7.
Children recited a variety of poems from memory, celebrating the works of poets such as Shel Silverstein, Kenn Nesbitt, Elizabeth Coatsworth and Jeff Foxworthy. Some students recited poems written by their parents or siblings.
4th-Grade Writing Lab
Notre Dame Elementary School fourth-graders are taking part in a writing lab where they work together to develop their writing skills. Over the next month, they will be putting the finishing touch on their Young Author’s books that will be shared with their family and friends and the Young Authors Conference on April 18 at St. Anselm.
