A Matter of Balance Classes
The Geauga County Department on Aging will offer free A Matter of Balance classes at the Geauga County Public Library Thompson Branch, 6645 Madison Road, Wednesdays and Fridays, Oct. 7-30, from 1-3 p.m.
The eight-session program helps seniors improve balance, flexibility and strength, reduce their fear of falling and learn ways to prevent falls and stay safe at home. Participants must be registered with the Department on Aging and attend at least six of the eight classes.
Space is limited. The program is sponsored by UH Geauga Medical Center. To register, call Magaly Rios at 440-279-2137.
