Cleanup Days Volunteers Needed
The Geauga County Department on Aging is in need of volunteers from all over the county to help during the 2015 Geauga Fall Cleanup Days for seniors. The event runs throughout October and November.
Many seniors can no longer rake their yards or flowerbeds, weed, clean up yard debris or wash windows. This is where volunteers can make a difference.
By volunteering just a few hours of time, you can help a senior citizen remain independent and allow them to live in a safe, clean environment. Seniors all over Geauga County are in need of the fall yard cleanup program.
To register to volunteer, visit the Department on Aging at 12555 Ravenwood Drive, Chardon, or call 440-279-2138, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Questions? Call Bob Debevits, home maintenance coordinator, 440-279-2135.
