In business since 1936, Spear’s Chardon Tractor Sales, Inc. is a full service business selling tractors, construction equipment, mowers, hay tools and other farm related implements.
William Spear Jr., owner of the firm at 12600 GAR Highway east of Chardon Square, evolved into carrying an inventory of agriculture-related tractor brands since 2003, along with autos and truck lines.
“We actually have had farm equipment here since 1998,” said Spear’s father, William Spear Sr. Though retired, he still comes in to assist when needed at the expansive operation.
William Spear Jr. carries a large selection of New Holland brand farm equipment added in 2002, Kioti brand tractors and all types of mowers for their customers.
The other major brand products at Spear’s Chardon Tractor Sales’ showroom and lot includes New Holland construction equipment such as skid loaders, IHI Excavators, the Kioti tractors, Gravely, Arien mowers and blowers, SCAG Z mowers and Woods Implements.
Outside the large interior showroom, the New Holland products are on display for customers to browse for their specific needs.
The Chardon firm also sells log splitters for residential homeowners’ use.
“We have a large indoor showroom and an added service area, new larger palts and merchandising section in the building. Customers can come in and see the quality inventory we stock or if they need service and maintenance on existing equipment. We offer not only sales, but service parts for all types of the farm or residential related equipment on the market today,” said Spear Jr. “We offer the best purchasing experience supplied by our knowledgeable sales consultants here in the store. Our service and maintenance crew are certified and reliable if a customers needs this type of service.”
Spear’s Chardon Tractor Sales offers pickup of equipment to be serviced and delivery of any new equipment purchased.
Delivery of any equipment being serviced in the maintenance/repair shop can also be delivered to the customers.
“The difference and goal for us is that all new or used and serviced equipment is personally delivered to ensure satisfaction to all our customers. This is our mission for the business to continue glowing and attracting new customers and repeat customers. We want our customers to be satisfied if they are buying any of our new line products or used equipment,” said Spear Jr.
The Chardon business firm services customers in Geauga, Ashtabula, Lake and other Northeast Ohio surrounding counties.
