Chili Cook-Off and Auction
The 16th annual Huntsburg Grange Chili Cook-Off is March 19 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Huntsburg Gym located behind the fire department garage. Parking is behind the old school. Just $3 buys a chili sampler pack and one People’s Choice vote for one’s favorite entry.
Call Colleen by March 12 at 440-636-5517 to enter the contest. There is a $5 entry fee.
There will be first and second place ribbons with cash prizes and third place honorable mention. The event also features free Grange cake, a Chinese auction drawing starting at 2 p.m., live music by Bob Stanek and The Boys Are Back, kids’ games, cake walk, raffles, 50/50 drawing and vendor show. Memorial brick order forms will be available. Cost is $45.00 with installation.

Church Women United
All women are invited to the Church Women United of Geauga County meeting on March 5 from 9:30 a.m. to noon at Huntsburg Congregational Church, 12435 Madison Road. The group will be celebrating 75 years at this meeting. The group will celebrate World Day of Prayer and enjoy a salad buffet luncheon. Speaker is Bennie Williams-Roper, the Area B chairman of Church Women United in Ohio.

Everyone is welcome to come to watch the free movie, “The War Room,” at Huntsburg Congregational Church, 12435 Madison Road, Huntsburg on March 5 at 6:30 p.m. Enjoy some family time and a great family movie.
Chamber Meeting
The next Middlefield Chamber of Commerce meeting is March 8 at 7:30 a.m. at Mary Yoder’s Amish Kitchen, 14743 North State St., Middlefield.
Speakers are John Wilton, from Ohio Bureau of Worker’s Compensation on the discount program offered through BWC; Susan West, of ACE Hardware in Middlefield; and Kim Breyley and Darrin Cook, of Middlefield Post.
Breakfast may be ordered and paid for individually from the special breakfast menu. Doors open at 7:15 a.m.
