Youth Sports Sponsorships
The Middlefield Recreation Department is seeking sponsors for the youth baseball, softball, soccer and football programs.
Sponsor a baseball or softball team by choosing a Home Run ($300), Triple ($275) or Double ($250) sponsorship package. Each package offers a variety of benefits to suit one’s advertising needs.
There are also youth soccer sponsorship opportunities available for $225 and the following youth football sponsorship opportunities: Touch Down sponsorship ($1,000), Field Goal sponsorship ($225) or sponsor all year round for $3,500.
Sponsorships help defray the cost of the program to participants. Sponsorship forms can be located at www.middlefieldohio.com.

Grange Chili Cook-Off, Auction
The Huntsburg Grange Chili Cook-Off and Chinese auction takes place March 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Huntsburg gym behind the fire station.
Contact Jacqui at 440-636-5510 for information on how to enter chili into the chili cook-off. There will be a cash prize for People’s Choice.
Come and enjoy lunch, buy a sampler pack, taste all the chilies and vote. Purchase tickets for the Chinese auction that has some great prizes. Some local businesses have generously contributed.
The event also features a cake walk, live band, guest vendors, 50/50 raffle and afghan raffle.

Chamber Meeting March 12
The Middlefield Chamber of Commerce will meet at noon March 12 in the community room located upstairs in the Middlefield Fire Department. Mayor Ben Garlich will give the State of the Village Address.

It is a popular countywide business expo where businesses and customers have a chance to personally meet, ask questions and get real answers. The event is free to the public.
World Day of Prayer
All women of all churches are invited to celebrate World Day of Prayer on March 1 at Huntsburg Congregational Church, 12435 Madison Road.
Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. with a delicious breakfast. The program is “I was a stranger and you welcomed me,” written by the women of France.
Please bring non-perishables for the food bank.
