Mistake on Chardon Square

The design of the proposed improvement which is to replace the “log cabin” is outrageously inharmonious with our beautiful Chardon Square.

There is not a scintilla of conformity with the historic buildings, etc., presently on the square. Surely some accommodation could be made to the sensibilities of those of us who love our historic legacy.

Please redesign the exterior of what appears to be a rest stop on an interstate to something that looks as though it belongs there.

Definition: Inharmonious “Not forming or contributing to a pleasing whole, discordant” … To say the least!

Billy E. Bowles
