Teach Children Remotely

I find it highly amusing that the person, who wrote so vehemently about sending children back to school in last week’s Letters to the Editor, homeschools all of her kids. Why not encourage people to send their children into danger zones when you take no risks yourself.

I have something to lose, as my wife is a compromised teacher, who risks her life to go back into school, while you don’t even believe in vaccinating your kids.

All of the teachers I know are scared of returning until COVID is under control. It’s funny that teachers are asked to risk their lives, on the front lines, like they are soldiers.

What is wrong with teaching children remotely as they did in the spring? I know this is not ideal, but if it helps to control the virus, so be it.

On another note, Daniel Horowitz is a conservative writer, not a doctor. All a rational person has to do is look at the severe uptick in cases in states that decided to open their beaches to see that when you ignore social distancing you get burned. Some schools have already opened and shut down due to a student testing positive for COVID.

My thought is, if you don’t have anything to lose your opinion is worthless.
