PGP Not Affiliated with GPD
Dear valued Geauga County residents and park supporters, in recent weeks an ad appeared in this newspaper by Protect Geauga Parks. The ad stated Vote No on Issue 1. The ad also stated, don’t let the politicians destroy environmental regulations, mandate drilling/fracking on your land, sell off park land to developers, deregulate air & water quality, and stifle clean renewable energy.
I’ve been asked by some residents whether Protect Geauga Parks is affiliated with Geauga Park District? We are not. They in no way speak for Geauga Park District. They do not represent our organization and the intentions we have for serving you, our valued resident and park user.
While we are disappointed in anyone who may correlate their political views on State Issue 1 with Geauga Parks, your Geauga Park District will continue to serve you with distinction. We will continue to provide you with quality parks and recreational services.
We sincerely appreciate you, our valued residents. Thank you Geauga County for your continued support.
John Oros, Executive Director
Geauga Park District
