Ridiculous and Asinine

John Augustine’s screed against Ralph Spidalieri was a bit ridiculous. I am no staunch defender of the commissioner, but if you want to critique the man the least you can do is base it on actual grievances about the governance of Geauga County.

Asinine is the most polite term I can think of to describe blaming Mr. Spidalieri for global warming, or insinuating his purpose is to increase global warming. I know I am not speaking for just myself when I say I absolutely do not want a commissioner who is committed to fighting “global warming” or “climate change.”

The false specter of so-called climate change is nothing but a cover for the blatant communist take-over of the rights and freedoms we enjoy as Americans. For every piece of evidence that mankind is causing harm to the environment, there is a piece of evidence to the contrary, and the matter is far from settled.

NOACA is doing enough to harm Geauga County, we don’t need any commissioners, whether incumbent or to be elected, joining them to expedite the process.

I personally do not want to see explosive growth in Geauga County just for the sake of it any more than Augustine does. However, no organic or legitimate residential or commercial growth should ever be hampered due to so called “climate concerns.”

NOACA Represents Political Science

Recently a letter was published in which the writer made the statement that, “97% of climate scientists agree that climate change is at least partly due to human intervention — that’s an overwhelming consensus.” No such consensus exists, in which the data has not been statistically cherry-picked or substantially fabricated.

I refute the “97%” statement based on two documents. The Heidelberg Appeal, signed by 4,000 scientists, including 72 Nobel Laureates, refutes man’s role in climate change and petitions the world to rely on statistically provable science.

The Oregon Petition has been signed by 31,072 American scientists, including 9,021 holders of a Ph.D., among them physicist Dr. Edward Teller, a chief founder of the U.S. nuclear program.

Arthur Robinson, founder and president of the Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine (OISM), told a press conference, “No such consensus or settled science exists.” “As indicated by the petition text and signatory list, a very large number of American scientists reject” the hypothesis of human-caused global warming.

This is echoed by astronaut Dr. Harrison Schmidt, a Ph.D. geologist who walked on the moon. Dr. Schmidt said, “consensus merely represents the absence of definitive science.” Dr. Schmidt goes on to say “the global warming scare is being used as a political tool to increase government control over American lives, incomes and decision making. It has no place in society’s activities.” In my opinion, a better description of NOACA’s Climate Action plan is hard to find.

When the prestigious Planetary Society, founded by Carl Sagan, jumped in on the man-made global warming bandwagon, Dr. Schmidt, truly a man of scientific integrity, promptly resigned.

I am the person the writer quoted as saying, “NOACA represents not science, but political science.” I and over 31,000 scientists stand squarely on that statement of opinion. The writer’s attempt to characterize and attempt to marginalize me and any who disagree with his views as a “fringe element” is patently absurd and completely provably wrong.

For nearly 50 years as a Specialty Gases Chemist, with 15 U.S. patents in gases, composition of matter, processes and gas handling equipment, I have been substantially involved with gases chemistry and emissions measurement. I have had a good working relationship with the scientists at U.S. EPA.

Not only do I scientifically refute the writer’s unsubstantiated ad hominem attacks, typically resorted to when there is no science to back the statement, but I further posit the ridiculous Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW) issue is the “new religion” for people who are too smart for religion.

In the next round, should there be one, we will show how the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) used, and continues to use, corrupted data upon which climate change is attributed to man’s burning of fossil fuels. IPCC falsely claims CO2 is the culprit of climate change.

Notably, CO2 is the source of plant food for Earth’s greenery via photosynthesis, from which Earth’s greenery provides oxygen to us all. CO2 is very green and as irreplaceable in Earth’s Ecosystem as is oxygen.

As Earth’s greenery goes, so goes mankind. This is clearly seen from NASA satellite photos, undeniably showing the greening of Earth as a function of increasing CO2 atmospheric concentrations. Humans cannot survive without CO2.

“Net zero” CO2 emissions, like NOACA’s Climate Action Plans, are a fool’s errand with clear catastrophic consequences, including global economic collapse, global famine, large scale death among all living organisms and finally ushering in the totalitarian One World Government, via UN Agenda 21.

I urge all to research this dictatorial plan of which NOACA’s Climate Action Plan is a key local facilitator. The UN and NOACA are not shy. They lay out in great detail precisely what they plan to do.
