Former Chardon Student Speaks Out

RIP to all those who lost their lives and were injured at Parkland High School.

I know all that you’re going through because we never thought it would happen here in Chardon.

As a freshman, that was the scariest day of my life and my heart goes out to all of you.

Now that being said, America, WAKE UP. This needs to stop now, and don’t tell me about gun control because it won’t solve anything.

There’s a reason we have a right to purchase those guns, but we are giving them to the wrong people. America is so scared to stand up for what we believe in and afraid to be ridiculed. Well I’m not.

Speak your mind! This is also a world now where there is no such thing as respect.

Bullying everywhere — what, because someone’s “different,” that gives you a right to act like an arrogant piece of crap toward them? No. I’ve been bullied. It sucks, and I don’t ever want people to feel like I did, and that’s how this all ends up. Bullying, outcasts, and what the lady on FOX said, “freaks.” There’s no such thing as freaks, OK? Treat everyone with respect. America isn’t so great anymore because now when you hurt someone’s feelings, they pull out a gun and then someone’s dead. America, we are all under one race.

Yeah, we have black, white, Puerto Rican, Asian, Mexican, but it doesn’t matter, we are all the human race and we should love each other as one under God.

You can agree with me or not, but I’m so tired of all this on the news about people dying because they say one thing to offend you or they are bullied and want revenge. Please seek help and reach out to people who you think feel like they have no friends. Everyone deserves to have friends. That’s the last thing I have to say; agree or not, I don’t care, that’s my opinion. I love you all as family, my human race family.

God bless us all.
