On behalf of the League of Women Voters of Geauga County, I want to thank our state Sen. John Eklund and state Reps. Sarah LaTourette and John Patterson for speaking at our Free Speech Forum on May 5.
They each gave an update about their activities and answered many questions from the audience which was very appreciative of their presentations and explanations.
We thank the Munson Trustees for allowing our League to use their lovely meeting room to hold this informative event.
Thanks also to Geauga TV for once again filming our forum. It will be shown on Thursday, June 1 on Channel 20 at noon, 2 p.m., 6 p.m., 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.
The purpose of the League of Women Voters of Geauga County is to promote political responsibility through informed and active participation of citizens in government.
