Thank You, Mr. Mucci

Rah, Rah for Mr. Mucci. We have a gentleman with a back bone in Geauga County. No way was Mr. Mucci going to stand for the lies that were started about him being the person who made up the list of recreational activities that were planned for the Geauga Parks. Mr. Mucci left the park board commissioners position. He resigned. Stating he was not in favor of the tension and the in turn “wack-a-mole” response. Again with Mr. Mucci’s stand I see some one to recon with.

Mr. Mucci was not going to stand for “how we do and when we do it”. He knows right from wrong and picks the path of right. I know you felt some people were against you Mr. Mucci, but now I am sure you know we only want what is best for the park. Conserve, Preserve and Protect our natural beauty. Many small township parks have all the play equipment and ball fields for all to use. But do you see majestic trees and wild flowers growing along a path of quiet and serenity there, NO.

Again thank you Mr. Mucci for standing up to stop the lies.

Park District is a Chapter 1445

How can the current Chester Township Trustees claim that the Chester Township Park District is a Chapter 511 Park District? Have the Trustees ever looked at the Township’ Trustees’ 1984 Application to form the Township Park District or Judge Frank Lavrich’s May 10, 1984 Judgment Entry creating the Township Park District?

A Chapter 511 township park is created and controlled by the township trustees. The township trustees approve the park board. A Chapter 1545 township park district is created by the Probate Court. The Probate Court appoints the park board.

The application filed by the Town-ship Trustees specifically asked the Probate court to form the Township Park District “in accordance with the provisions of Ohio Revised Code Chapter 1545.02.”

The Chester Township Park District is a Chapter 1545 district, which means the Township Trustees have no legal authority over the Chester Township Park District.

As a point of interest, I was one of the Trustees that signed the application to the Probate Court in 1984.
