Geauga County Auditor Charles E. Walder is inviting residents and local business owners to attend a free Cybersecurity Awareness Seminar on March 30 aimed at helping participants better protect themselves in today’s digital landscape.

Geauga County Auditor Charles E. Walder is inviting residents and local business owners to attend a free Cybersecurity Awareness Seminar on March 30 aimed at helping participants better protect themselves in today’s digital landscape.

The seminar will take place from 6:30-7:45 p.m. in Room A334 of the Geauga County Office Building, 12611 Ravenwood Drive, Munson Township, and is open to the public.

“We in government serve the people,” Walder said. “This session is designed to provide Geauga County residents and businesses with practical, easy-to-understand guidance on staying safe online.”

Attendees will hear from local experts on how to safeguard personal and business data, recognize cyber threats and take proactive steps to prevent attacks.

Featured speakers include Geauga County Commissioner Jim Dvorak, Geauga County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Jim Jonovich, Prosecutor’s Office Investigator Rick Warner and ADP Director of Cybersecurity Zach McLeod.

The seminar will cover real-world strategies to help protect families, finances and business operations from increasingly sophisticated cyber risks.
