NOTICE OF GENERAL ELECTION

The Board of Elections of Geauga County, Ohio, issues this Proclamation and Notice of Election.
A GENERAL ELECTION WILL BE HELD ON
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 2016
(being the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November)
at the usual place of holding elections in each and every precinct throughout Geauga County or at such places as the Board may designate for the purpose of choosing the following officers:
President/Vice President
United States Senator
Representative to Congress (14thDistrict)
State Senator (18th District)
State Senator (32nd District)
State Representative (76 th District)
State Representative (99 th District)
County Commissioner (1/2/17 Term)
County Commissioner (1/3/17 Term)
Prosecuting Attorney
Clerk of Courts of Common Pleas
Sheriff
County Recorder
County Treasurer
County Engineer
Coroner
Chief Justice of the Supreme Court (1/1/17)
Justice of the Supreme Court (1/1/1/17 term)
Justice of the Supreme Court (1/2/17term)
Judge of the Court of Appeals (11th District – 2/9/17 term)
Judge of the Court of Common Pleas
and determining issues in the following areas:
Aquilla Village
South Russell Village, Auburn,
Burton, Chardon, Chester, Claridon, Hambden.,
Huntsburg, Middlefield, Montville, Munson, Newbury,
Russell and Thompson Townships
Auburn Vocational,
Cardinal, Riverside, and West Geauga School Districts
East Geauga Fire District
The Polls for the Election will open at 6:30 o’clock a.m. and remain open until 7:30 o’clock p.m. of said day.
