  Notice is hereby given that the Chester Township Zoning Commission will conduct a public hearing on five motions which are amendments, identified as Number Z2020-1, Z2020-2, Z2020-3, Z2020-4, and Z2020-5 to the Chester Township Zoning Resolution at the Chester Township Town Hall at 7:00 p.m. on August 5, 2020.

    The motions proposing to amend the zoning resolution will be available for examination at the Chester Township Town Hall from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. from July 9, 2020 through August 5, 2020.

     After the conclusion of the public hearing, the matter will be submitted to the board of township trustees for its action.

Notice of Public Hearing

Burton Township

   The Township of Burton will hold a public hearing pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 715.72(I) on Monday, August 17, 2020 at 7:00 PM at the Burton Township Administration Building located at 14821 Rapids Road. The purpose of the public hearing is to seek public input concerning (1) the formation of a Joint Economic Development District (“JEDD”) between Burton Township and the Village of Burton for the property in Burton Township where the new Berkshire School District campus will be located; and (2) the terms of the JEDD Agreement. The public is invited to review the proposed JEDD Agreement and submit comments, recommendations or questions during the hearing. Copies of the proposed JEDD Agreement, map of the property to be included in the JEDD and the income tax schedule will be available for public inspection for a period of thirty days prior to the public hearing at the Burton Township Administration Building at 14821 Rapids Road.

   Sealed bids will be received at the office of the Board of County Commissioners, 470 Center Street, Building #4, Chardon, Ohio 44024, for the:

GCDWR FUEL & FUEL TANK PROVIDER

during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, until 1:45 pm (local time)

on August 5, 2020 at which time the bids shall be opened and publicly read at 2:00 pm in the Commissioners Chambers.

   Specifications may be obtained, cost-free, off the Geauga County Department of Water Resources’ website at: www.gcdwr.org.

    A copy of this legal notice is posted on the Geauga County’s website. Go to http://www.co.geauga.oh.us/departments/commissioners/bids/ and click on the project name to view this legal notice.

   Envelopes containing the bid and other required documents shall be sealed and clearly marked “GCDWR FUEL & FUEL TANK PROVIDER” Bid, Attention: Clerk, Geauga County Board of Commissioners, 470 Center Street, Building #4, Chardon, Ohio 44024.”

   Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or guaranty in the amount of 100% of the total amount bid, or a certified check, cashier’s check, or letter of credit in an amount not less than 10% of the total amount bid, as required by R.C. 153.54. The bid bond or guaranty must be submitted as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured.

  The bid bond or guaranty shall be issued by an approved surety company authorized to transact business in the State of Ohio and said company shall have local representation. The bond or guaranty shall meet the satisfaction of the County Prosecutor.

    The Geauga County Commissioners reserve the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids received or any part thereof.

   Terms of payment shall be as described in the bid specifications.
