Such action is brought against the real property only and no personal judgment shall be entered in it. However, if pursuant to the action, the property is sold for an amount that is less than the amount of the delinquent taxes, assessments, charges, penalties and interest against it, the Court, in a separate order, may enter a deficiency judgment again the owner of record of a parcel for the amount of the difference; if that owner of record is a corporation, the Court may enter the deficiency judgment against the stockholder holding a majority of the corporation’s stock.

The above-named parties are required to answer on or before 28 days after the last date of publication. Such answer must be filed with the Clerk of Courts, and a copy must be served on the Prosecuting Attorney.

Geauga County

A public hearing will be held by the Board of County Commissioners of Geauga County at the County Conference Room located at 470 Center Street, Building #8 in Chardon, Ohio at 7:00 p.m. on September 24, 2019, when and where objections to, or endorsements of, the proposed Chardon Township Wastewater Treatment Plant and Sewer Project will be heard. The Project is to be constructed to improve the Berkshire Heights subdivision of the County by constructing (i) a new 50,000 gdp wastewater treatment plant at 11094 Thwing Road, identified in the records of the Geauga County Recorder as Permanent Parcel No. 06-037100 and (ii) new gravity sewers, pump station and force main leading to the new wastewater treatment plant with necessary connections, and related resurfacing and paving, in order to provide sanitary sewer service for all 113 homes located on 114 lots in the Berkshire Heights Subdivision of Chardon Township, together with all incidental work and related appurtenances thereto and acquiring any real estate or interests therein required therefor, in accordance with the general plan of sewerage for the District. The new gravity sewers will be constructed along (w) Henning Drive from a point 360 feet south of its intersection with Chardon Road southerly to its intersection with Thwing Road, (x) Howard Drive from the westerly line of lots and lands identified in the records of the Geauga County Recorder as Permanent Parcel No. 06-120601 easterly to its intersection with Henning Drive, (y) Thwing Road from the westerly line of lots and lands identified in the records of the Geauga County Recorder as Permanent Parcel No. 06-000150 easterly to its intersection with Auburn Road, and (z) the entire length of Olmar Drive and Helmut Drive.
