NOTICE OF INTENT TO SELL UNNEEDED, OBSOLETE, OR UNFIT TOWNSHIP PERSONAL PROPERTY VIA INTERNET AUCTION.
Resolution number 2026-1 adopted by the Troy Township Board of Trustees on Januarty 6, 2026 authorizing the disposal of unneeded, obsolete, or unfit township property, including motor vehicles, road machinery, car parts, equipment, tools and office equipment or supplies by internet Auction in accordance with O.R.C. section 505.10.
Internet auctions will be conducted through www.govdeals.com with whom Troy Township has contracted.
All items will be offered for sale “as is, where is” with Troy Township making no warranty, guarantee, or representation of any kind expressed or implied, as to the condition of said items.
Items will be listed for a minimum of ten (10) days.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
City of Chardon
The City of Chardon Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing to consider the applications described below on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at 6:30 pm in Council Chambers at the Chardon Municipal Center, 111 Water Street, Chardon, OH 44024. The meeting is subject to adjournment or recess to a later date without another Notice of Public Hearing (ORC 3115.05(c)).
PC Case #25-329: Applicant, Sheetz Inc., is requesting the following variances related to the proposed construction of a convenience store, drive thru and gas station at 501 Water Street, Chardon, Ohio: 1) a variance from Section 1151.35(b) to allow two driveways each measuring 42.5 feet wide; 2) a variance from Section 1139.05(c)(4) to allow an accessory structure measuring 21 feet, seven and one quarter inches in height; and 3) a variance to Section 1149.09(b)(4) to allow wall signs on non-primary or secondary building frontages.
PC Case #25-330: Applicant, Willow Tree Development Inc., is requesting the following variances for Phase II of the Willo Tree Planned Residential Development located at the south side of Water Street, Parcel ID# 10-165740, 10-165741, and 10-165742: 1) a variance from Schedule 1137.15B to allow a 26 foot setback from the public right of way for Sublot #114; and 2) a variance from Schedule 1137.15C to allow a 20 foot setback from the PRD boundary for Sublot #109.
PC Case #25-331: Applicant, Marc F. Burr, on behalf of The 11511, LLC, is requesting a Conditional Use Certificate to operate a funeral home at parcel 10-165838 (308 Park Avenue, Chardon).
PC Case #25-332: Applicant, Matt Shirley, on behalf of the Sansone Group, is requesting a Conditional Use Certificate to operate a motor vehicle service station at 240 Meadowlands Drive, Chardon.
