REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (“RFP”)

for CCMEP Program Services

  Geauga County Job and Family Services (GCJFS”), and the Northeast Ohio Consortium Council of Governments (“NOCCOG”) on behalf of the Area 19 Workforce Development Board are accepting proposals to enter into written provider agreements for the Comprehensive Case Management and Employment Program (“CCMEP”) program services for eligible Geauga County youth.

  Proposals must be submitted as set forth by the Request for Proposals packet made available on December 30, 2021, on the website listed below, or to those who request the same in writing. The mandatory bidders’ conference which can be attended in person at 1:30 p.m. on January 7, 2022, at GCJFS at 12480 Ravenwood Drive in Chardon, Ohio, or virtually at the same time and date. Those interested in attending the mandatory bidder’s conference in person or virtually, and submitting a proposal to provide services, must contact Denise Gehring, by calling (440) 285-5842, or emailing her at dgehring@neohio.twcbc.com. A copy of the RFP may also be obtained on the NOCCOG website page located at: https://noccog-area19.com/request-for-proposals, or the GCJFS website located at:  https://www.geaugajfs.org/index.php/omj-geauga-county.

  The program services being sought include:

• Case Management Including Administration of Supportive Services,

• Remedial Education Services to assist in securing secondary H.S. diploma or its equivalent, and referrals to ASPIRE.

• Career and Post-Secondary Education Exploration and preparation for Post-Secondary Education.

• Preparation for Employment, including readiness and/or basic skills training (excluding ITAs and OJTs).

• Paid and Unpaid Work Experience.

• Every day and extraordinary Life Skills Programming.

• Temporary Housing Provider, and/or Housing Assistance.

• Counseling and Treatment.

  Providers that desire to provide any of the requested program services in exchange for compensation, are to respond with the provision of proposals.  Providers that are looking to provide youth with similar services without compensation may contact the parties listed to arrange for a formal referral process.

  Proposals must be submitted to the Area 19 WDB, as instructed in the RFP documentation.  The deadline for submission of proposals is February 2, 2022.
