Public notice is hereby given that on the 13th day of September, 2016, the County Treasurer of Geauga County, Ohio, filed a Complaint in the Common Pleas Court of Geauga County, being Case Number 16-F-000712, for the foreclosure of liens for delinquent taxes, assessments, penalties, and interest against certain real property situated in said County, as described in the Complaint.
The Geauga County Prosecuting Attorney has determined that the publication of the complete legal description is not necessary to provide reasonable notice of foreclosure proceedings to the interested parties. The complete legal description may be obtained through the Geauga County Recorder’s office.
The object of the action is to obtain from the Court a judgment foreclosing the tax liens against such real estate and ordering the sale of such real estate for the satisfaction of the tax liens on it.
Such action is brought against real property only and no personal judgment shall be entered in it. However, if pursuant to the action the property is sold for an amount that is less than the amount of delinquent taxes, assessments, charges, penalties and interest against it, the Court, in a separate order, may enter a deficiency judgment against the owner of record of a parcel for the amount of the difference, if that owner is a corporation, the court may enter the deficiency judgment against the stockholder holding majority of the corporation’s stock.

The Ohio Soil and Water Conservation Commission will cause an election of Supervisors of the Geauga Soil and Water Conservation District to be held in accordance with Chapter 940 of the Ohio Revised Code.
Residents or landowners, firms, and corporations that own land or occupy land in the Geauga Soil and Water Conservation District and are 18 years of age and older may vote for Supervisor. Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of the East Geauga Fire District of Middlefield, Ohio, passed on the 9th day of May, 2016, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 8th day of November, 2016, the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, for the benefit of the East Geauga Fire District for the purpose of:
FIRE
Said tax being: an additional tax at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to 10 cents for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years.
The polls for the election will open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on Election Day.

Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of Education of the West Geauga Local School District, Ohio, passed on the 18th day of July 2016, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 8th day of November, 2016, the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, for the benefit of the West Geauga Local School District for the purpose of:
EMERGENCY REQUIREMENTS
Said tax being: a renewal of an est. tax at a rate not exceeding 5.8 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to 58 cents for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 10 years.
The polls for the election will open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on Election Day.

Parkman Township
The Board of Parkman Township Trustees will receive sealed bids for Vehicle Extrication, Stabilization, and Lifting. This Equipment will be for use by Parkman and Troy Townships. The Parkman Township Trustees will receive sealed bids until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday November 15, 2016, at which time the bids will be opened.
Copies of detailed product descriptions and specifications can be obtained by request by email at ptvfd@windstream.net. Legal notice shall be considered part of this bid specification.
The Board of Parkman Township Trustees reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and to waive any informalities and/or irregularities in the proposals received whenever such rejection or waiver is in the best interest of the Township.
Address bids to Parkman Township Trustees, P.O. Box 688, Parkman, Ohio 44080. Mark the outside of the sealed proposals, “Proposal for Extrication & Stabilization Equipment”.
