APPEAL FOR VARIANCE
BURTON TOWNSHIP
Notice is hereby given that the Burton Township Board of Zoning Appeals will conduct a public hearing on an application for an appeal for a variance to the Burton Township Zoning Resolution on the 27th day of October, 2025 at 7:00 o’clock p.m. at the Burton Township Administration Building, 14821 Rapids Road, Burton Ohio 44021.
This application #1689-25, submitted by DNL Capital, LLC requests a variance from the foregoing regulations together with a variance from any other provisions of the Zoning Resolution prohibiting the proposed used, including but not necessarily limited to: (i) Section 402.12 requiring manufactured homes to be permanently sited on a slot; (ii) Section 402.12 (A)(3) requiring a minimum width of 22 feet and a minimum floor area of 1,200 square feet; (iii) Section 402.12 (A)(5) requiring a manufactured home to be permanently installed upon and attached to a foundation; (v) Section 402.12 (A)(6); and (vi) Section 401.12(B) requiring the surrender of title, of the Burton Township Zoning Resolution as amended August 14, 2019. The pre-bid inspection will be conducted immediately following the pre-bid meeting.
Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or guaranty in the amount of 100% of the total amount bid, or a certified check, cashier’s check, or letter of credit in an amount not less than 10% of the total amount bid, as required by R.C. 153.54. The bid bond or guaranty must be submitted as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured.
The bid bond or guaranty shall be issued by an approved surety company authorized to transact business in the State of Ohio and said company shall have local representation. The bond or guaranty shall meet the satisfaction of the County Prosecutor.
Bids may be held by the Russell Township Board of Trustees for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening, for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the contract. The Russell Township Board of Trustees reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, and to accept any bid or bids which are deemed most favorable to the Board at the time and under conditions stipulated, all in accord with the applicable provisions of laws of the State of Ohio governing the conduct of the Russell Township Board of Trustees.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
City of Chardon
Residents of the City of Chardon shall take note that a public hearing shall be conducted by the Council of the City of Chardon in Council Chambers of the Chardon Municipal Center, 111 Water Street, Chardon, Ohio at 6:20 P.M. upon the 13th day of November, 2025.
Said hearing is to provide the public an opportunity to comment regarding the City of Chardon’s proposed text amendment to the Planning & Zoning Code, specifically Sections 1133.11 (Accessory Uses and Structures). The text amendment is to allow the expand and clarify the rules with regards to accessory structures and uses related to the harboring of animals. Additionally, there is an amendment to Section 1103.03 to amend the definition of “Livestock”. A copy of the text amendment is on file and available for public inspection in the office of the Clerk of Council of said City, weekdays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
