Whereas, judgment has been rendered against certain parcels of real estate in case number 16-F-000712 for taxes, assessments, penalty, interest, and costs as follows:

WHEREAS, said judgment orders such real property to be sold by the undersigned to satisfy the total amount of judgment;
NOW THEREFORE, public notice is hereby given that the Geauga County Sheriff’s Department, will sell such real property at public auction, for cash, to the highest bidder for an amount that equals the total amount of the judgment, including all taxes, assessments, penalties, interests and costs. Sheriff’s sale beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday the 26th day of October, 2017, at the Geauga County Courthouse, 100 Short Court, Chardon, Ohio. Each parcel shall be sold separately.
If any parcel does not receive sufficient bid, it shall be offered for sale under the same terms and conditions of the first sale and at the same time and place, on Thursday the 9th day of November, 2017.
Purchasers shall be required to deposit as soon as their bid is accepted 10% of purchase price cash, bank check or certified check only. At the sale a fee of $50.00 will be charged per deed to be prepared by the Sheriff’s Department. This payment must be paid in cash or by money order.
The full purchase price shall be paid within thirty (30) days from date of confirmation of sale, and unless paid within thirty (30) days the purchaser shall be adjudged to be in contempt of Court.

Newbury Local School District
Bids will be received at the Board of Education Offices OFFICE OF THE TREASURER, NEWBURY LOCAL SCHOOLS, 14775 AUBURN ROAD, NEWBURY, OHIO, 44065, until 12:00 Noon, local time on Friday, November 17, 2017 and will be publicly opened, read and recorded immediately thereafter for New Grandstand at Newbury High School. Sealed bids received after 12:00 Noon will not be accepted.
Complete sets of plans and specifications may be examined at the above noted office of the Owner and at the printer. Copies of complete sets covering the work may be obtained from ARC-blueprint Company phone: 216-281-1234 upon receipt of a non-refundable check made payable to R. J. Priest Associates, Inc. in the amount of – FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00) for each set.
There will be no Pre-bid Conference, interested contractors may visit the site. All questions must be emailed to RJPriestAssociates@gmail.com.
Bids must be submitted on the Bid Form included in the Specifications. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of either:
1. A bid guarantee and contract bond for the full amount of the bid, written upon an acceptable surety company authorized to do business in the State of Ohio. The form of the bond shall be provided in Section 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code.
2. A certified check or cashier’s check made payable to the “Newbury Local Schools” or a letter of credit meeting requirements of Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code in an amount equal to 10% of the bid amount. When a check or letter of credit is used, a separate 100% performance/payment bond will be required upon signing of the Contract.
3. The bond must be issued by a surety company authorized by the Ohio Department of Insurance to transact business in the State of Ohio, listed in the Department of Treasury Circular 570, rated at least “A” (Excellent) Class “VII” in the most recently published Best’s Business Insurance Report and acceptable by the Owner.
Bid guarantees of all unacceptable bidders will be held until a proper contract is entered into or until all bids are rejected and then returned.
No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing for the receipt of bids for at least sixty (60) days. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to accept the lowest, most responsive and responsible bid, to waive any informalities in bidding and/or to consult with any bidder to clarify any and all bids. The successful bidder shall produce an affidavit certifying that there are no delinquent taxes owed.
