This legal notice is hereby given, that the Middlefield Police Department has these items of personal property in its possession which personal property has been lost, abandoned, stolen, seized and is subject to disposal in accordance with ORC 2981.12. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Chardon, duly passed and/or adopted the following legislation:
ORDINANCE NO. 2988
AN ORDINANCE CREATING SECTION 923.176 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES, SEWER CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FEE.
An ordinance creating §923.176 of the Codified Ordinances, Sewer Capital Improvement Fee, to assess a monthly sewer capital improvement fee as follows: commercial and industrial customers, 0-1000 gallons of water used (gwu), $2.05; per 100 additional gwu, $0.21; excluding commercial and industrial customers, 0-1000 gwu, $1.65; per 100 additional gwu, $0.17; effective with water bills generated after 6/15/2017.

ORDINANCE NO. 2990
AN ORDINANCE TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO JOIN A COALITION OF MUNICIPALITIES RETAINING SPECIAL COUNSEL FOR PURPOSES OF INITIATING LITIGATION TO CHALLENGE THE CONSTITUTIONALITY OF AMENDMENTS TO CHAPTER 718 OF THE OHIO REVISED CODE RELATING TO MUNICIPAL INCOME TAX, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
An ordinance to authorize the City Manager to join a coalition of municipalities retaining special counsel Frost Brown Todd LLC for purposes of initiating litigation to challenge the constitutionality of amendments to Chapter 718 of the Ohio Revised Code relating to municipal income tax, to prevent further state control over the administration and collection of municipal income taxes; and to expend $2,000 for legal fees.

RESOLUTION NO. 17-17
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO APPLY FOR, ACCEPT, AND ENTER INTO A WATER SUPPLY REVOLVING LOAN ACCOUNT AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF CHARDON FOR CONSTRUCTING THE EAST KING STREET WATERLINE AND DESIGNATING A DEDICATED REPAYMENT SOURCE FOR THE LOAN.
A resolution authorizing the City Manager to apply for and accept a WSRLA loan for constructing the East King Street Water Line, sign all loan documents and take all action required by State agencies.

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO PREPARE AND SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE OHIO PUBLIC WORKS COMMISSION STATE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT AND/OR LOCAL TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM(S) AND TO EXECUTE CONTRACTS AS REQUIRED.
A resolution authorizing the City Manager to apply to OPWC for funding of capital improvements to S. Hambden Street and to sign all documents to obtain funding.
