Notice is hereby given that the valuations for tax year 2017 have been completed and are now open for public inspection.  Said valuations may be checked at the Real Estate Department of the Auditor’s Office, Courthouse Annex, 231 Main Street, Chardon, OH 44024.

This legal notice is being made to comply with Ohio Revised Code, Section 5715.17 requiring publication in the newspaper and does not change any prior written notification. Taxpayers are advised that any and all changes to valuations have already been made, by mail, to every property owner. No changes to valuations are done without written notification.

Complaints against any valuation or assessment except those fixed by the Department of Taxation will be heard by the Board of Revision on January 9, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Auditor’s Office, at 215 Main Street.  Further information regarding complaints may be obtained by contacting the Auditor’s Office.
