To the Defendants the unknown spouse, creditors, executors, executrices, administrators, heirs at law, next of kin, devisees, legatees, and/ or assigns and their spouses, executors, executrices, administrators, heirs at law, next of kin, devisees, legatees and/or assigns of Donna P. Schmidt and William M. Warren, Trustee whose present location is unknown and cannot with reasonable diligence be ascertained:
Plaintiff has brought this action naming you as a defendant in the Geauga Common Pleas Court, 100 Short Court, Chardon, OH 44024 by filing its Complaint on the 23rd day of October, 2023.
The object of the complaint is to foreclose the equity of redemption under a mortgage against the property located at 9860 Sherman Road, Chesterland, Ohio 44026.
The relief demanded by Plaintiff is judgment against Defendants Raymond J. Elias, Lisa S. Elias and Wesley G. Schmidt in the amount of $32,942.51 plus interest at the rate of 3.780% per annum from August 1, 2019 and at the rate of 4.5080% (variable) per annum from November 1, 2022, costs, attorney fees and such other legal and equitable relief to which it may be entitled.
You are required to answer the Complaint within twenty-eight (28) days after the last publication of this notice setting forth whatever right, title or interest you have or may claim to have in the aforementioned premises or be forever barred from claiming or asserting same. The publication will be published once a week for six (6) consecutive weeks, with the last publication to be made on the 30th day of November, 2023.
In case of your failure to answer or otherwise respond as permitted by the Ohio Rules of Civil Procedure within the time stated, judgment by default will be rendered against you for the relief demanded in the Complaint.

To: Jack A. Rice, you will take notice that on March 21, 2023, Plaintiff, filed a Second Amended Complaint for foreclosure in the Geauga County Court of Common Pleas, 100 Short Court, Suite 300, Chardon, Ohio 44024, being Case No. 22-F-000398, alleging that there is due to the Plaintiff the sum of $24,692.06, plus interest at a variable rate from March 20, 2021, which was then 4.990% per annum, plus late charges and fees applicable to the terms of a Promissory Note secured by a Mortgage on the real property, which has a street address of 8494 Murphy Rd., Thompson, OH 44086, being permanent parcel number: 20-006720.
Plaintiff further alleges that by reason of a default in payment of said Promissory Note, the conditions of said Mortgage have been broken and the same has become absolute.
Plaintiff prays that the Defendant named above be required to answer and assert any interest in said real property or be forever barred from asserting any interest therein, for foreclosure of said mortgage, marshalling of liens, and the sale of said real property, and that the proceeds of said sale be applied according to law.
Said Defendant is required to file an Answer on or before the twenty-eighth day following the last date of Publication.

Notice is hereby given that the Newbury Township Board of Zoning Appeals will conduct a public hearing on an application, identified as number AV23-009, for an area variance on the 21st of November 2023. The meeting will begin at 7:00 pm at the Newbury Township Town Hall, 14899 Auburn Road Newbury, OH 44065. The application, submitted by property owner Donna Hawkins, is requesting a front yard setback of 22.28 feet, where a 40 foot front yard setback is required for the construction of a residence.

MICROWAVE NETWORK UPGRADE
Sealed bids will be received at the office of the Board of County Commissioners, 12611 Ravenwood Drive, Suite 350, Chardon, Ohio 44024, for the “Geauga County Sheriff’s Office Microwave Network Upgrade” during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, until 1:45 pm (local time) on December 13, 2023, at which time the bids shall be opened and publicly read at 2:00 pm in the Commissioners Meeting Room, B303 (Third Floor).
Printed plans and specifications may be obtained from the Geauga County Sheriff’s Office, 12450 Merritt Rd, Chardon, Ohio 44024 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Envelopes containing the bid and other required documents shall be sealed and clearly marked:
“BID – GEAUGA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE MICROWAVE NETWORK, Attention: Clerk, Geauga County Board of Commissioners, 12611 Ravenwood Drive, Suite 350, Chardon, Ohio 44024.”
Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or guaranty in the amount of 100% of the total amount bid, or a certified check, cashier’s check, or letter of credit in an amount not less than 10% of the total amount bid, as required by R.C. 153.54. The bid bond or guaranty must be submitted as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured.
The bid bond or guaranty shall be issued by an approved surety company authorized to transact business in the State of Ohio and said company shall have local representation. The bond or guaranty shall meet the satisfaction of the County Prosecutor.
The Geauga County Commissioners reserve the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids received or any part thereof.
Terms of payment shall be as described in the bid specifications.
