Notice is hereby given that the Chester Township Board of Zoning Appeals will conduct a public hearing on an application identified as ZA-2026-2, on the 9th day of March 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at Chester Town Hall.
The applicant, Scott and Latasha Sharp are requesting an area variance for their property located at 13475 Sperry Road. They propose allowing an existing accessory building to remain when the existing house is demolished and a proposed new home built. The proposed home would be located to the rear of the existing accessory building. This proposal is in violation of Section 501.3 (C) of the Chester Township Zoning Resolution.

TowerKing proposes the construction of a guyed style telecommunications tower within a 100’ x 100’ lease area approximately 0.55 miles west-northwest of Valentine Rd. & Clay St., Thompson, Geauga County, OH. The height of the tower will be 181.3-meters above ground level (595-feet above ground level) and 182.6-meters above ground level including appurtenances (599-feet above ground level with appurtenances). This application #1713-26, submitted by Ken Ashba requests an area variance to change property lines to separate a shared driveway which would be nonconforming once separated. He seeks relief from Article IV, Section 607.0, Paragraph A, Driveways, of the Burton Township Zoning Resolution as amended August 14, 2019.
