Proposed Air Rule Amendment and
Public Hearing
The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (Ohio EPA) is proposing to amend Ohio Administrative Code rules 3745-26-01 and 3745-26-12, Motor Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance (I/M) Program (E-check). A public hearing on the proposed amendments will be conducted as follows: Thursday, May 5, 2017 at 1:30 PM at Ohio EPA Northeast District Office, 2110 East Aurora Road, Twinsburg, Ohio. All interested parties may attend and comment. Pursuant to Part D of Title I of the Clean Air Act, Ohio EPA is required to establish a state implementation plan (SIP) for the attainment and maintenance of the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS). The above-mentioned rules are a part of Ohio’s SIP and the proposed amendments will be submitted to USEPA as a modification of the SIP. The abovementioned hearing shall be considered the public hearing for the SIP submittal. City of Chardon
Residents of the City of Chardon shall take note that a public hearing shall be conducted by the Council of the City of Chardon in Council Chambers of the Chardon Municipal Center, 111 Water Street, Chardon, Ohio at 6:15 P.M. upon the 11th day of May, 2017.
Said hearing is to provide the public an opportunity to comment regarding the City of Chardon’s proposed text amendment to the Planning & Zoning Code, specifically Sections 1103.03(b) Definitions to establish the definition of “Marijuana” to match the definition found in other sections of the Codified Ordinance and to amend Section 1105.03 (Zoning District Use Regulations: Prohibitions) to include a prohibition on Medical Marijuana Dispensaries in all zoning districts within the City of Chardon. A copy of the text amendment is on file and available for public inspection in the office of the Clerk of Council of said City, weekdays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
