Regular Meeting Notice

A Public Hearing for the Joint Portage-Geauga Juvenile Detention Center will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 in the Geauga County Commissioners’ Board Room, 470 Center Street, Building #4, Chardon, Ohio 44024-1068 to review the Proposed Draft Fiscal Year 2019 Tax Budget and consider the adoption of said proposed Tax Budget. All citizens are invited to the hearings to provide the Joint Board of Commissioners with written and oral comments and ask questions concerning the Juvenile Detention Center’s Proposed Fiscal Year 2019 Tax Budget. ORDINANCE NO. 3014

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SCHEDULE 1155.09 REQUIRED OFF-STREET PARKING SPACES OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES.

An ordinance reducing the number of parking spaces for restaurant use from one space per 50 sq. feet to 100 sq. feet and increasing parking spaces for industrial uses from one space to 1.5 space for every employee working the largest shift.

Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements as determined by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations.

Bids may be held by the Geauga County Board of Commissioners for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening, for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract.

The Geauga County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, and to accept any bid or bids which are deemed most favorable to the Board at the time and under conditions stipulated, all in accord with the applicable provisions of laws of the State of Ohio governing the conduct of the Geauga County Board of Commissioners.
