The Village of Burton will hold a discussion on a proposed D.O.R.A. (Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area) on Monday, June 8, 2026 at 7:00 pm during the regular scheduled Council Meeting, second floor of the Burton Public Library.
The D.O.R.A. application is on file at the Village of Burton Office, second floor of the Burton Public Library. Office hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday thru Friday. This application is available for inspection by the public during regular business hours.

in Burton Township and
Claridon Township

Notice is hereby given that the Geauga County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing for the proposed Road Name Change of a portion of Osmond Road (TR 132), defined as follows:
• Southerly terminus: at the centerline intersection of Osmond Road (TR 132) with Butternut Road (County Road 21);
• Northerly terminus: at the northern terminus of Osmond Road (TR 132).
The total centerline length between these termini is approximately 0.407 miles, consisting of 0.243 miles in Burton Township and 0.165 miles in Claridon Township.
The proposed name change is to Levi Lane (TR 1080).
The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Chambers at 12611 Ravenwood Drive, Room 303, Chardon, OH 44024, at which time the Board will hear comments and questions from any interested persons concerning the proposed road name change.
