Troy Township
Notice is hereby given that the Troy Township Board of Zoning Appeals will conduct a public hearing on applications for appeals for variances to the Troy Township Zoning Resolution on June 9, 2021 at 7:30 p.m. at the Troy Community Center, 13950 Main Market Road, Burton, OH 44021.
The application #ZP21-24 submitted by Marcie Smith/Cleveland Skydiving Center requests that she be granted relief regarding Use zoning certificate to use the lot for a campground. The application for the appeal pertains to Article IV Section 402.1 Permitted Principal Buildings, Structures and Uses, Letters A-H which states A. Cemeteries B. Churches C. Governmental Offices D. Police and fire stations E. Public parks owned or leased by a political subdivision or the State of Ohio. F. Schools G. Single family detached dwellings, including industrialized units and manufactured homes subject to the regulations set forth in Section 402.17. There shall be no more than one, single family detached dwelling on a lot. H. Licensed residential facilities subject to the regulations set forth in Section 402.18 and they wish to use the lot for a campground.
The application #ZP21-25 submitted by Marcie Smith/Cleveland Skydiving Center requests that she be granted relief regarding a Use zoning certificate to use an existing driveway, located on a different lot in order to access the campground. The application for the appeal pertains to Article VI PARKING, DRIVEWAYS, AND LOADING/UNLOADING SPACES, Section 600.0 General Requirements for Parking and Loading/Unloading Spaces in All Zoning Districts, Letter C which states C. All parking and, loading/unloading spaces shall be located on the same lot as the use to be served and they wish to use an existing driveway located on a different lot.
Marcie Smith/Cleveland Skydiving Center has filed applications for Use zoning certificates and wants them to be granted for the property located at 15199 Grove Road in Troy Township PPN # 32-026500.

APPEAL FOR VARIANCE
Notice is hereby given that the Burton Township Board of Zoning Appeals will conduct a public hearing on an application for an appeal for a variance to the Burton Township Zoning Resolution on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. at Burton Township Administration Building, 14821 Rapids Road, Burton, Ohio 44021.
Application #1526-21, submitted by Abner Hershberger Jr. seeks relief from Article IV, Section 402.6(A), Minimum Lot Width at Building Setback, of the Burton Township Zoning Resolution as amended August 14, 2019. He requests a set back of 240 feet (60 foot variance) from the minimum 300 foot requirement. He asks that this be granted for the lot located at: 14303 Butternut Road in Burton Township, Ohio.
Following the public hearing, any other business as it relates to the responsibility of the Board, will be discussed and action taken as needed.

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids marked as “Maple Leaf Residences Project” will be received during the normal business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Bids will be received until 1:45 p.m., June 16, 2021 in the Geauga County Board of Commissioners Office at 470 Center Street, Building #4, Chardon, OH 44024, or by mail at the same address. Bids received shall be publicly opened and read aloud the same day at said office at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 16, 2021.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Maple Leaf Community Residences Main Office, 200 Claridon Road, Chardon, Ohio 44024.
The specifications will be available for inspection at the Department of Community & Economic Development, 470 Center Street, Building #8-A, Chardon, OH during normal business hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday from Thursday, May 27, 2021 UNTIL 1:45 p.m., Wednesday, June 16, 2021.
