  Bruce H. Cochran, Brenda L. Cochran aka Brenda L. Sample, Unknown Heirs, if any, of Bruce H. Cochran, and Unknown Heirs, if any, of Brenda L. Cochran aka Brenda L. Sample whose last known address is 8740 Washington Street, Chagrin Falls, OH 44023 and whose present address is unknown, and cannot, with reasonable diligence, be ascertained shall take notice; and, if deceased, their unknown heirs, devises, legatees, administrators, executors, and assigns will take notice that on the 22nd day of May, 2023, the Treasurer Of Geauga County, filed a Complaint in the Court of Common Pleas, Geauga County, 100 Short Court Street, Chardon, Ohio 44024, entitled Christopher P. Hitchcock, Treasurer of Geauga County vs. Bruce H. Cochran, et al., Case No: 23-F-000304, against the above-named parties, praying that the premises hereinafter described be sold for the collection of delinquent real estate taxes, owed and unpaid, is $19,627.29 together with accruing taxes, assessments, penalties, interest, and charges; as well as court costs.  Said premises is described as permanent parcel number(s) 02-291500. A complete legal description of the parcel(s) can be obtained from the Geauga County Recorder’s Office. The volume and page number for the parcel(s) can be obtained from the Geauga County Auditor’s Office.

 The object of the action is to obtain from the Court a judgment foreclosing the tax liens against such real estate and ordering the sale of such real estate for the satisfaction of delinquent taxes.

 Such action is brought against the real property only and no personal judgment shall be entered in it.  However, if pursuant to the action, the property is sold for an amount that is less than the amount of the delinquent taxes, assessments, charges, penalties and interest against it, the Court, in a separate order, may enter a deficiency judgment against the owner of record of a parcel for the amount of the difference; if that owner of record is a corporation, the Court may enter the deficiency judgment against the stockholder holding a majority of the corporation’s stock.

 The above-named parties are required to answer on or before 28 days after the last date of publication.  Such answer must be filed with the Clerk of Courts, and a copy must be served on the Prosecuting Attorney.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

City of Chardon

 Residents of the City of Chardon shall take note that a public hearing shall be conducted by the Council of the City of Chardon in Council Chambers of the Chardon Municipal Center, 111 Water Street, Chardon, Ohio at 6:15 P.M. upon the 14th day of September, 2023.

 Said hearing is to provide the public an opportunity to comment regarding an application from Willo Tree Development Inc. (Rollin Cooke III) proposed Zoning Map Amendment to Parcel ID# 10-165740, 10-165741, and 10-165742.  The proposed re-zoning is to re-zone the northern portion of PPN 10-165740 from “C-1” Restricted Business to “R-3” Medium Density Residence. If the re-zoning is recommended for approval then the applicants will request that all three parcels (Parcel ID# 10-165740, 10-165741, and 10-165742) be re-zoned from “R-3” Medium Density Residence to “PRD” Planned Residential District.  The properties are located on the south side of Water St. approximately 320 ft. east of the intersection of Meadowlands Drive and Water St. The address of the property will be XXX Water St., Chardon, OH 44024, with Parcel ID# 10-165740, 10-165741, and 10-165742.  The total acreage of the PRD is 58.95 acres.

The proposed plan is for a 122 home detached single family home Planned Residential Development (subdivision).  The properties are located on the south side of Water St. approximately 320 ft. east of the intersection of Meadowlands Drive and Water St. The address of the property is XXX Water St., Chardon, OH 44024, with Parcel ID# 10-165740, 10-165741, and 10-165742.  The total acreage of the proposed PRD is 58.95 acres.  The property owner is Willo Tree Development Inc.

 Notice is hereby given that the Troy Township Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) will conduct a public hearing for the continuation of application ZP21-24 on the 24th day of August, 2023 at 7:00 o’clock p.m. at the Troy Community Center, 13950 Main Market Road, Burton, OH 44021.
