IN THE COURT OF COMMON PLEAS

21-P-000263 – Hannah Dodrill, Plaintiff v. John Robert Riendau III, et al., Defendants.
John Robert Riendau III, whose residence is unknown but whose last known address is 11790 Clarkwood Drive, Chardon, Ohio 44024, is hereby notified that a Complaint was filed in Geauga County, Common Pleas Court, 100 Short Court, Suite 300, Chardon, Ohio 44024, alleging that on or about July 17, 2019, Plaintiff was operating a 2012 Chrysler 200 southbound on State Route 44 in Newbury Township, Geauga County, Ohio; that Defendant, John Robert Riendau III, was operating his vehicle and was traveling northbound onto State Route 44 when he failed to yield when turning left, failed to stop and struck Plaintiff’s vehicle head on; that as a result of Defendant’s negligence, Plaintiff, Hannah Dodrill sustained physical injuries which are permanent, physical pain and suffering and a permanent loss of enjoyment of life, personal injuries, medical expenses and that Plaintiff also sustained lost wages and will continue to do so in the future; that John Doe Defendants Numbers 1 to 8 individuals, corporations or other business entities whose names and addresses are currently unknown may be responsible for Plaintiff’s injuries alleged herein; that at the time of the collision, Plaintiff was a beneficiary under a health plan issued by Defendant, Medicaid; that Defendant, Medicaid may claim a right of subrogation in relation to said expenses paid on behalf of Plaintiff; wherefore Plaintiff demands judgment against Defendants in an amount in excess of $25,000.00 for damages, costs and expenses incurred; for declaratory relief against Defendant, Medicaid, with respect to Plaintiff’s contractual rights under the respective health plan issued on and for any other relief to which Plaintiff may be entitled.

21-F-000233 – Christopher P. Hitchcock, Treasurer of Geauga County, Ohio, Plaintiff vs. Alfred Rosteck, et al., Defendants.
Alfred Rosteck, Dolores R. Rosteck and the Unknown Heirs, if any, of Alfred Rosteck, whose last known address is 815 Frost Road, Apt 2206, Streetsboro, Ohio 44241, and present address is unknown, and cannot, with reasonable diligence, be ascertained shall take notice; and, if deceased, their unknown heirs, devises, legatees, administrators, executors and assigns will take notice that on the 8th day of April, 2021, the Treasurer Of Geauga County, filed a Complaint in the Court of Common Pleas, Geauga County, Ohio located at 100 Short Court Street, Chardon, Ohio 44024, entitled Christopher P. Hitchcock, Treasurer Of Geauga County vs. Alfred Rosteck, et al., Case No: 21-F-000233, against the above-named parties, praying that the premises hereinafter described be sold for the collection of delinquent real estate taxes, owed and unpaid, is $6,972.52 together with accruing taxes, assessments, penalties, interest and charges; as well as court costs. Said premises is described as permanent parcel number(s) 26-155700. A complete legal description of the parcel(s) can be obtained from the Geauga County Recorder’s Office. The volume and page number for the parcel(s) can be obtained from the Geauga County Auditor’s Office.
The object of the action is to obtain from the Court a judgment foreclosing the tax liens against such real estate and ordering the sale of such real estate for the satisfaction of delinquent taxes.
Such action is brought against the real property only and no personal judgment shall be entered in it. However, if pursuant to the action, the property is sold for an amount that is less than the amount of the delinquent taxes, assessments, charges, penalties and interest against it, the Court, in a separate order, may enter a deficiency judgment against the owner of record of a parcel for the amount of the difference; if that owner of record is a corporation, the Court may enter the deficiency judgment against the stockholder holding a majority of the corporation’s stock.
The above-named parties are required to answer on or before 28 days after the last date of publication. Such answer must be filed with the Clerk of Courts, and a copy must be served on the Prosecuting Attorney.

Notice is hereby given that the Russell Township Zoning Commission will conduct a public hearing on a motion which is an amendment, identified as number 2021-02 to the Russell Township Zoning Resolution at the Town Hall, 14890 Chillicothe Road at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 25, 2021.
The motion proposing for a billboard addition/deletion amendment to the zoning resolution will be available for examination at the Russell Township Zoning Office, 8501 Kinsman Road, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. from August 12, 2021 through August 25, 2021.
After the conclusion of the public hearing, the matter will be submitted to the Board of Township Trustees for its action.

ELECTION LEGAL NOTICE
The Ohio Soil and Water Conservation Commission will cause an election of Supervisors of the Geauga Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) to be held in accordance with Chapter 940 of the Ohio Revised Code. Individuals who own or occupy land within the Geauga Soil and Water Conservation District and are 18 years of age or older may vote for Supervisor.
There are 3 ways an eligible voter can cast a ballot: (1) At the SWCD office from 7:00 am until 3:30 pm during normal business hours; or (2) At the SWCD Annual Meeting, which will take place at 14269 Claridon Troy Road on September 30, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm; or (3) Voting absentee from September 1, 2021 until September 30, 2021, by requesting the ballot application and election ballot from the SWCD office at the following address: 14269 Claridon Troy Road, PO Box 410, Burton, OH 44021, by calling 440-834-1122, or email clair@geaugaswcd.com. Absentee ballots must be received by the SWCD office by September 30, 2021.
