APPEAL FOR VARIANCE TO
TROY TOWNSHIP
ZONING RESOLUTION
Notice is hereby given that the Troy Township Board of Zoning Appeals will conduct a public hearing on an application on an appeal for a variance to the Troy Township Zoning Resolution on the 18th day of September, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Troy Community Center, 13950 Main Market Road.
The application, submitted by David E. Mullet, requests that a zoning variance be granted regarding adding to existing property which is located at 16801 Mumford Road, Burton, OH 44021.

LEGAL NOTICE
Village of Middlefield
The Village of Middlefield Council will hold a public hearing on October 2, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. to hear any comments regarding Ordinance 14-131 enacting new section 1135.04(I) and amending existing section 1135.05(d) of the codified ordinances to allow for temporary seasonal uses in the commercial district and make certain technical amendments.

Notice is hereby given that during the Council meeting held Thursday, September 4, 2014, the Village of Middlefield passed the following legislation:

Ordinance 14-139
An Ordinance Authorizing the Hiring of David Detweiler as a Part-Time Program Supervisor for the Recreation Department, Ratifying the Hiring of Detweiler on August 15, 2014 and Declaring an Emergency.

Resolution 14-17
A Resolution Accepting the Amounts and Rates as Determined by the Budget Commission and Authorizing the Necessary Tax Levies and Certifying then to the County Auditor.

Resolution 14-20
A Resolution Authorizing the Village Administrator to Enter into an Agreement with the Cardinal School District Authorize the Village Recreation Department to Utilize School Facilities from September, 2015 through August, 2015, and Declaring an Emergency.

Resolution 14-14
A Resolution Authorizing the Village Administrator to Enter into a Two-Year Extension of the Existing Agreement with Geauga Local Access Cable Corporation for the Provisions of Local Access Cable Programming.

LEGAL NOTICE
Ledgemont Local School District
Parents in the Ledgemont Local School District who plan to seek reimbursement for school transportation must file applications with the Ledgemont Board of Education. WE REQUIRE THE COMPLETED APPLICATION TO BE RETURNED TO OUR OFFICE NO LATER THAN FRIDAY – SEPTEMBER 26, 2014.
Reimbursement is provided for children of residence in the district who attend schools outside the Ledgemont District within the 30 minute limit set by the State Department of Education, and for whom transportation is not provided. Ledgemont resident students who are open-enrolled out to public school districts other than the Ledgemont School District (their home district) are not eligible for reimbursement.
You must file the application by the above deadline in order to qualify for reimbursement in June of 2015. Amount of reimbursement is calculated by the Ohio Department of Education and will be reimbursed at the published rate.
Applications may be picked up in the Treasurer’s office located at 16200 Burrows Road, Thompson, Ohio 44086.
