LEGAL NOTICE
Ledgemont Local School District
Parents in the Ledgemont Local School District who plan to seek reimbursement for school transportation must file applications with the Ledgemont Board of Education. WE REQUIRE THE COMPLETED APPLICATION TO BE RETURNED TO OUR OFFICE NO LATER THAN FRIDAY – SEPTEMBER 26, 2014.
Reimbursement is provided for children of residence in the district who attend schools outside the Ledgemont District within the 30 minute limit set by the State Department of Education, and for whom transportation is not provided. Ledgemont resident students who are open-enrolled out to public school districts other than the Ledgemont School District (their home district) are not eligible for reimbursement.
You must file the application by the above deadline in order to qualify for reimbursement in June of 2015. Amount of reimbursement is calculated by the Ohio Department of Education and will be reimbursed at the published rate.
Applications may be picked up in the Treasurer’s office located at 16200 Burrows Road, Thompson, Ohio 44086.

ZONING RESOLUTION
Notice is hereby given that the Troy Township Board of Zoning Appeals will conduct a public hearing on an application for an appeal in regards to a variance to the Troy Township Zoning Resolution on the 6th day of October, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Troy Community Center, 13950 Main Market Road.

NOTICE OF ASSESSMENT FOR
SIDEWALKS
Residents of the City of Chardon and property owners shall take notice that the estimated assessment for the repair and maintenance of sidewalks, construction of sidewalks on and abutting municipal property and construction when required of a sidewalk base in the municipal right-of-way has been submitted and Council has passed a resolution of necessity assessing all lots and land within the City (not exempt from real estate taxes), in the amount of $100,000 for one year from the date of the resolution. The remainder, if any, shall be paid out of the general fund.
The rate charges and the amount of the assessment based upon millage per assessed value is on file with the Office of the Geauga County Auditor at 231 Main Street, Chardon, Ohio and may be inspected from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
This notice is served pursuant to Section 727.14. No other notice shall be given.

SHADE TREE
Residents of the City of Chardon and property owners shall take notice that the estimated assessment for the control of blight and disease of shade trees within public rights-of-way and for planting, maintaining, trimming and removing shade trees in and along the streets of the City of Chardon based upon an estimate and request for funds by the City of Chardon Shade Tree Commission has been submitted to Council, which has passed a resolution of necessity assessing all lots and lands within the City (not exempt from real estate taxes) in the amount of $60,000 for one year from the date of the resolution. The remainder, if any, shall be paid out of the general fund.
The rate charges and the amount of the assessment based upon millage per assessed value is on file with the Office of the Geauga County Auditor at 231 Main Street, Chardon, Ohio and may be inspected from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
