Patrick E. Blau aka Patrick Blau and Jane Doe, Name Unknown, Unknown Spouse if any of Patrick E. Blau aka Patrick Blau, whose last known address is: 12511 Jackson Drive, Burton, OH 44021, and who cannot be served, will take notice that on July 24, 2017, Plaintiff filed a Complaint for Money, Foreclosure and other Equitable Relief in the Geauga County Court of Common Pleas, Geauga County, Ohio, 100 Short Court, Chardon, OH 44024, being Case No. 17-F-000589, against Patrick E. Blau aka Patrick Blau and Jane Doe, Name Unknown, Unknown Spouse if any of Patrick E. Blau aka Patrick Blau, among others as Defendants, alleging that, Patrick E. Blau aka Patrick Blau is in default for all payments from January 1, 2017; that on October 31, 2014, Patrick E. Blau aka Patrick Blau, executed and delivered a certain Mortgage Deed in which said Defendants agreed, among other things, to pay the Note and to comply with all of the terms of the Mortgage Deed hereinafter described, which Mortgage Deed was filed in the Recorder’s Office of Geauga County, Ohio on November 5, 2014, recorded in Volume 1980, Page 2212, and assigned to the Plaintiff on May 23, 2017, and recorded in Volume 2032, Page 2159 of the Geauga County Records, that, further, the balance due on the Note is $114,927.28 with interest at the rate of 4.875% per annum from January 1, 2017; that to secure the payment of the Note, executed and delivered a certain Mortgage Deed to and thereby conveying, in fee simple, the following described premises:
Situated in the State of Ohio, in the County of Geauga, and in the City of Burton:
Commonly known as 12511 Jackson Drive, Burton, OH 44021
and further alleging that the aforesaid Mortgage is a valid and subsisting first and best lien upon said premises after the lien of the Treasurer; that the Note is in default, whereby the conditions set forth in the Note and Mortgage have been broken, that the Mortgage has become absolute and that Plaintiff is entitled, therefore, to have the Mortgage foreclosed, the premises sold, and the proceeds applied in payment of Plaintiff’s claims; that the Defendants, Patrick E. Blau aka Patrick Blau and Jane Doe, Name Unknown, Unknown Spouse if any of Patrick E. Blau aka Patrick Blau, among others, may have or claim to have some interest in or lien upon said premises; that all of the Defendants are required to set forth any claim, lien or interest in or upon the premises that he, she, or it may have or claim to have or be forever barred therefrom; that Plaintiff’s Mortgage be declared to be a valid and subsisting first and best lien upon said premises after the lien of the Treasurer, if any, that its Mortgage be foreclosed; that all liens be marshaled; that the equity of redemption of all Defendants be forever cut off, barred, and foreclosed; that upon the sale of said premises the proceeds be paid to Plaintiff to satisfy the amount of its existing lien and the interest, together with its disbursements, advancements, and costs herein expended; and for such other and further relief to which is may be entitled in equity or at law.
Defendants are further notified that they are required to answer the Complaint on or before October 12, 2017, which includes twenty-eight (28) days from the last publishing, or judgment may be rendered as prayed for therein.

The object of the action is to obtain from the Court a judgment foreclosing the tax liens against such real estate and ordering the sale of such real estate for the satisfaction of delinquent taxes.
Such action is brought against the real property only and no personal judgment shall be entered in it. However, if pursuant to the action, the property is sold for an amount that is less than the amount of delinquent taxes, assessments, charges, penalties and interest against it, the Court, in a separate order, may enter a deficiency judgment again the owner of record of a parcel for the amount of the difference; if that owner of record is a corporation, the Court may enter the deficiency judgment against the stockholder holding a majority of the corporation’s stock.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
Proposed Additional County Permissive
Annual Motor Vehicle License Tax
In accordance with Sections 4504.15, 4504.16 and 4504.24 of the Ohio Revised Code, the Geauga County Board of Commissioners hereby gives notices of their desire to adopt a resolution for purposes of imposing additional annual motor vehicle license taxes on all motor vehicles, the district of registration of which, is located in Geauga County, Ohio, but not within any municipal corporations levying the tax authorized by R.C. 4504.17 and 4504.171.
The proposed additional annual county motor vehicle license taxes would consist of $15.00 in motor vehicle license taxes in three (3) separate increments of $5.00 each: a First New Tax of $5.00, a Second New Tax of $5.00 and a Third New Tax of $5.00.
Prior to adopting any resolution Geauga County Board of Commissioners must hold two (2) public hearing thereon, and hereby gives notice that it will hold public hearings in the Chambers of the Geauga County Board of Commissioners located at 470 Center Street, Building #4, Chardon, Ohio, on the proposed issuance of the additional annual county motor vehicle license taxes, as follows:
