Born on Sept. 1, 1929, in East Cleveland, Ohio, Armand lived a life marked by dedication, service and deep familial love.
Armand’s journey began with a solid foundation as a high school graduate. He answered the call to serve his country and honorably served in the U.S. Army from March 5, 1953, to Feb. 16, 1955. During his military tenure, he was a proud member of the 71st Reconnaissance Company of the 53rd Infantry Regiment, a chapter of his life that he carried with quiet pride.
Following his military service, Armand dedicated over 20 years to Alesci’s Italia Imported Foods in South Euclid, Ohio, where he was known not just for his work ethic but also for his kindness to colleagues. Later, he contributed his skills at the Geauga County Engineer’s Office, embracing each role with diligence and respect.
Among Armand’s most cherished moments was his marriage to Doris Morgan on April 25, 1964, at Pilgrim Christian Church in Chardon. Their union was a testament to his capacity for love and commitment, a bond that left an enduring impression on those who knew them.
As a loving and caring stepfather, uncle and friend, Armand was cherished deeply by his family and community. His legacy lives on through his stepsons, William F. Sattelmeyer, of Washington State, and Lee (Carol) Sattelmeyer, of Shaker Heights, Ohio, who carry forward his spirit in their hearts. He was also a proud step-grandfather to four step-grandchildren and a step-great-grandfather to six step-great-grandchildren, all of whom were touched by his gentle nature.
His nieces, Patricia, Josephine and Sharon, and nephews, Frank and Anthony, along with 12 great-nieces and great-nephews, remember him as a source of warmth and wisdom.
Armand’s family history includes his beloved parents, Anthony and Alessandra Felici (née DePaolis), as well as his dear wife, Doris M. Felici (née Morgan), who preceded him in death. He also joined his brother, Albert Felici; sisters, Clara Locurto and Marcella Mascia; and niece Sandra in eternal rest, leaving behind treasured memories.
