Freida Louise Benes
DUBLIN, CA – Freida Louise Benes, of Dublin, Calif., passed away peacefully on Monday, Dec. 18, 2017, at San Ramon Regional Hospital in San Ramon, Calif. She was 89.
Born Sept. 9, 1928, in Westmoreland County in Pennsylvania to Edna Clara (nee McElwee) and William James Milliron, Louise moved to Ohio in 1962 and lived in Middlefield and Garrettsville before moving to California in 2013.
Louise was retired from Geauga Industries in Middlefield.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling the country, cruising the Caribbean and playing golf with her league and her husband when he was alive.
Louise is sadly missed by her children, David Benes (Spring Lake, N.C.), Paula Goodrich (Solon), and Cindy Benes (Dublin, Calif.); their spouses, Marge, William and John; their children/her grandchildren, Edward, Robert, Erin, William, Elizabeth, Katherine and Alexander; and her great grandchildren.
She is also survived and missed by her sister Helen McKinney, of Bristol, Va.; her many nieces and nephews, and their families; her friends back in Ohio; and her new friends in California.
Preceding her in death are her parents, William and Edna; her husband, Paul Benes, who passed away in 1997; her first born son, Paul, who died shortly after birth; sisters Jean McCracken and Alyce Littell; half-sister, Leona Milliron; and three brothers, William, James, and Donald Milliron.
Per her request, cremation is taking place through A Special Touch in Dublin, Calif.
