Gary Piwarski
CHARDON – Gary Piwarski, age 64, of Chardon, passed away May 10, 2016, at his home.
Born Feb. 4, 1952, in Warren, to Alvin “Al” and Delores (nee Becca) Piwarski, Gary had been a lifelong area resident.
Gary worked for over 40 years at Park Ohio.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and betting on the horses.
Survivors include his sons, Ronald (Melissa), of Crestview, Fla., and Shaun, of Windsor Township; daughter, Nicole (Richard Heffern) Piwarski, of Highland Heights; grandchildren, Medo Mathkour and Nya Heffern; siblings David, of Arizona, and Kathy Jameson and Darlene (Mike) Konicek, both of Georgia; and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother Daniel.
Visitation was 6-8 p.m. May 20 at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. May 21 at the funeral home, with burial to follow at All Souls Cemetery, in Chardon Township.
