Julie Ann Soto
CHARDON – Julie Ann Soto, age 67, of Chardon, died Sept. 5, 2022, at the home of her daughter Utica Blaser in Chardon.
Julie was born May 12, 1955, in Salinas, Calif., to Antonio and Patricia (nee Glover) Desoto.
Julie was a lifelong resident of the area and was retired from ODOT in Geauga County.
She enjoyed all things gardening and making stain glass artwork. Her fondest passions were her grand and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her parents, Antonio and Patricia (nee Glover), of Painesville City; brother, Antonio Desoto, of Painesville; sister, Mimi Soto, of Painesville; daughters, Utica (Walton) Blaser, of Chardon, Tina Johnson, of Chardon; sons, Benjamin (Erica) Cochran, of Bainbridge Township, and Daniel Cochran, of Chardon, grandchildren, Thomas, Charlie, Sophia, Lupita, Ayden, Reegan and Carter; and great-grandchildren, Penelope, Jeremiah, Marlie and Rikki.
The family will receive friends, Monday, Sept. 12, 2022, from 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m., with a memorial service following at 7 p.m., at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon.
