Lee Matthew Kilmer

He was born on Aug. 31, 1973, in Niagara Falls, N.Y., to Joyce and Emily (née Raynard) Kilmer.
On Oct. 28, 1995, Lee married the love of his life, Melanie Wolf. Together they shared many happy and devoted years, building a life centered on family and friendship.
Lee was a talented handyman who truly enjoyed working with his hands. He spent many years working on cars and was known for being able to fix just about anything. He also worked as a machinist for Electralock, where he took pride in his skill and strong work ethic. No matter the task, Lee gave it his best and was always willing to help others.
He enjoyed gardening and was a dedicated beekeeper; he enjoyed tending to their hives, gathering honey the bees produced.
Lee had a big, outgoing personality and never met a stranger. He valued his friendships and was always ready to lend a helping hand. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity and warm spirit.
Lee will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Melanie Kilmer; daughters, Elise (Elson Miller) Kilmer, of Jamestown, Ohio, Audrey Kilmer, of Burton; son, Aiden Kilmer, of Burton; father, Joyce Kilmer, of Chardon, Ohio; and his cherished grandson, Hudson, along with many extended family members and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Emily Kilmer; and his sister, Julie Kilmer.
Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 20, 2026, at St. Helen Catholic Church, 12060 Kinsman Road, Newbury Township, Ohio, with a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Welton Cemetery in Burton.
Lee’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
